How Current the Information Is
Government offices change details without warning, and rosters often update on a delay. A person can be booked, moved, or released between one update and the next. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that every detail on the site is current or correct. Always call the office before you drive to a facility or send money to someone in custody. The CT DOC inmate information page warns that its own data is updated daily and can change quickly, which shows how fast custody status can shift.
This Is Not Legal Advice
Nothing on this site is legal advice. A website cannot stand in for a licensed attorney. If you face a legal matter, speak with a lawyer who can review the facts of your case.
Third-Party Search Tools
Some pages on this site include search boxes run by outside companies. We do not control what those tools return, what they charge, or how they handle the data you type in. Their results and their pricing are their own. Review each tool's terms before you use it.
Outbound Links
This site links to jail and prison rosters, corrections sites, the Connecticut Judicial Branch, federal locators such as the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator, and other public resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any site we link to. Once you leave this site, that site's rules apply.
No Records Are Stored Here
This site hosts no jail rosters, inmate records, booking photos, warrant data, or court records. It only points you to the offices and locators that hold them. To confirm whether someone is in custody, or to obtain a record, request it from the source. In Connecticut, that means the Connecticut Department of Correction for current custody, the Judicial Branch for court cases, the State Police for arrest reports, or the office that issued the record. Public access to many of these records is grounded in Connecticut's Freedom of Information Act, Conn. Gen. Stat. Sec. 1-210, though exemptions and erasure laws can limit what is released.
